Jamie's Thoughts

I want to thank everyone for all the phone calls, cards and personal visits on my behalf. I know many of you are fasting and praying on my behalf and I want you to know how much I need and appreciate your faith. Kent and I are exploring many other options for us to look into as we journey along this "Trail of Faith." I have truly felt all of your love, faith, strength and support, very literally! I have had some special experiences as I travel on this journey, and through this trial of my faith I have come to rely on the basic truths of the gospel and the sure knowledge I have that my Savior lives and that He is my advocate with the Father. One of the most imortant things I have learned to date is to have faith in my Father and that He will direct me for good. In the D&C 6:36 it says "Look unto me in every thought, doubt not, fear not." I have a testimony that this principle is true, so please, as you include me in your prayers think positive thoughts and know that the Lord will take care of me according to His Will. I love you all. Jamie

Sister Rohner,
You are such a rock! I feel so blessed to have you as such an amazing example to me and so many others while you are going through this trial. You have an amazing attitude and I know that you will continue to apply the scripture you shared "Look unto me in every thought, doubt not, fear not." I think the world of you and want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Clint Christensen told me at church about your situation and it broke my heart, I almost started to cry. You are so amazing and I love you. Thanks again for your testimony and strength. Love, Stephanie Cook

Jamie, you are always in my thoughts and prayers!!!

You are one of the strongest of women I know and have raised such strong individuals. Ashley of course has always been an example in many ways. And I know this is from you. She loves you dearly and we have had many talks about you and the love you both share for our Savior.
You have SO much love for your children, and theirs.
We are all in this with you. I think about you everyday. Stay happy, stay positive, and stay strong!!!

With love, Emily Heap

Jamie,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. You look great. Your faith and positive outlook on life will sustain you in this trial. You are truly an example-- of goodness, creative genius, not to mention you are the high fashionista. We love you dearly-- you are in our every prayer. Have a safe trip to Baltimore on the 3rd. I have been @ a Kraft Nat. Sales Mtg. I finished up today and now I'll spend a few days with Shane and Willow and head home on the 2nd. Then back up here for Sydneys baptism on the 6th. I'm so glad that you have this blog. It will help us keep in touch. Kent knows to call me anytime. ----You're not alone. I love you so much,
Kelli

Jamie,
My testimony has grown so much from listening to your Relief Society lessons these past couple of years. I always hoped I could grow to be just like you someday :) I am sure that Heavenly Father loves you and knows how much everyone loves you and will be with you every step of the way!
Thank you for being the example you are to all of us. You and your family will be remembered in our prayers for sure!

Jamie and Kent,

We just want the two of you to know how much we love you. We have many fond memories including going over to San Clemente together with the two of you along with the Shreeves. What a fun trip. The thing that really impressed us about that trip was how willing the two of you were in geting to know each of our children on a personal basis. Jamie, you probably didn't realize it but you gave extra attention to "the one" that needed a little extra encouragement. We will be forever grateful for that. You are a perfect example of Christ-like love and service. You are in our thoughts and prayers. If there is anything we can do for you, please give us a call. Anne just got off the phone with Ashley and she wanted to let you know that you are in her thoughts and prayers as well. They just moved two weeks ago to go to law school at the University of Nebraska.

Hey J! It's Sept 3rd. I tried to figure out a place on your blog to send a normal email, but these things intimidate me & I'm not "blog-literate," so I'll just attach it to this spot & hope you get it! Know you're flying to Baltimore today, so you and Kent have been on my mind all afternoon. Wishing you well & hope you'll have a nice time in spite of "stuff;" hoping you have some days when you feel good and can enjoy yourself a bit. Wishing you luck & love. And give our love to K, A, T & the babies.

Jamie,
It has been so great to visit with you as you have come back to visit the ward often for various functions. I wanted to thank you for teaching me the KISS method (keep it simple stupid)when we served in YW's together. All the big events turned out beautiful without the hours and hours of prep time. I draw on the KISS method time and time again especially with family functions. You are such an inspiration to me and I know you can do this cancer thing! Remember to give thanks for all things, the good, the bad, and the ugly. I love you.

Jamie,
I think it is so great that we are DOUBLE cousins! I have always looked up to you. When I was young I remember wanting to name my kids Chad and Mindy! When Dan and I were dating, it took me a while to figure out why I was looking at an "Anderson" family picture and found you and Kent!... We were shocked and sad to hear about your cancer, You are in our prayers everyday and we know that you will receive the love, peace, and support, that you need to get through this. I love the scripture you have quoted: ...doubt not, fear not. Believe it with your whole heart! We are so blessed to have the gospel. Love, Allison Frame

Miracles occur naturally as
expressions of love. The real
miracle is the love that
inspires them. In this sense
everything that comes from love
is a miracle.

Hi Jamie! I pray that miracles will continue to unfold before you each day. Your strength and faith inspire so many of us. My thoughts of love are w/ you and your family.
